Blade Thrust Bearing Replacement STC:
If you have broken or under limit blade thrust bearing rings, the RSW CH220032 STC replacement kit will save you a lot of money. This proven STC has been flying on hard working agricultural aircraft for over 15 years and proven to be rugged and reliable. With the poor availability of blades, and the high associated cost, this STC has become one of our most popular items. This assembly may be installed on a propeller with an original bearing assembly. In addition, once converted to this STC you will not need any costly chafing rings or bearing spacers. Don't throw away those blades with broken rings!
Counterweight Bearing and Shaft Assembly Kit:
The CP22000 Counterweight Bearing and Shaft Kit is another proven, rugged design from RSW. It is a full replacement for the entire OEM assembly which replaces everything including the bushings. It is the bushings that are at the heart of this successful design. Anyone who has operated any of these propellers for any time at all will be familiar with the inherent flaw of the original design. The original bushings had a very small surface area that was press fitted into the aluminum cylinder and there was no support for the shaft on its way down tot he threads. This is why they consistently break as they exit the bushing (see picture, bottom left). The RSW bushing increases the surface area dramatically (see picture bottom center) and also support the shaft 100% (see picture bottom right). Installed correctly, this is a bulletproof assembly which improves safety and performance by leaps and bounds.
Piston Crown:
The CP22019-X series of Piston Crowns is a great performer and an economical solution to an old problem. It replaces the entire OEM nut and gasket assembly with a bronze crown which utilizes dual quad seals for superior sealing capability. Always readily available, and significantly less expensive than the old Little Giant, it is a great solution and another of our most popular items.
